Winter peacefully recedes, giving way to a much-anticipated Spring. And this spring, we will not only see the birds and flowers, but also the doors of Casa da Cultura Comporta reopening once again.
In the Sala das 7 Aldeias of this old barn, the 5th edition of the Spring Market will take place. This edition runs continuously from April 1 to April 8 and will be open every subsequent weekend until May 21, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM and from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Admission to the Spring Market is free.
Fundação Herdade da Comporta is the promoter of the “CASA DA CULTURA – PATRIMÓNIO VIVO COMPORTA” project. This project aims to: 1) Create a cultural dynamic with various forms of expression; 2) Stimulate local synergies and reveal multiple facets of local and national identity; 3) Provide a communication platform for brands, artists, artisans, sponsors, etc., related to sustainability and environmental respect.
At Casa da Cultura, Fundação Herdade da Comporta annually organizes three events: the SPRING MARKET, the SUMMER MARKET, and the CHRISTMAS MARKET. These markets are held in the Sala das 7 Aldeias with pop-up stores of national brands and special participation of local associations during the CHRISTMAS MARKET.
The proceeds from “CASA DA CULTURA – PATRIMÓNIO VIVO, COMPORTA” support the Foundation’s projects for local communities.
