The Fundação da Herdade da Comporta is pleased to announce an exciting renewal of its seasonal events, formerly known as Spring Market and Summer Market. We proudly present Casa da Cultura: Roots, Arts & Food.
This event is a celebration of local culture, art, commerce, and gastronomy. Above all, it is an event with a social responsibility focus.
Inspired by the traditions and rich heritage of the Comporta region, this event stands out for its variety of national brands and unfolds in three parts throughout the year. Part I: Spring, featuring Água de Rosas; Cosidos de Fresco; Wamy By Jo; Lua de Champagne; Apuro; Maria Minorca; Lange Artesanato; Cerâmicas do Moinho; Calçado Valentim; Misssu Dressing; Ângelo Vicente Interior Design; Zamioculca; Loja das Tábuas; Captain Socks; Cush Cush Comporta Spirit and Fundação HdC.
The event will take place from March 23 to 30, and will continue over the weekends of April and May. Hours: 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM | 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
In the Gallery space, we will feature artist Salomé Nascimento with her exhibition: WHEREVER YOU GO, THERE YOU ARE, which seeks to explore spaces as human geographies, and places and contexts as agents of relation and creation that influence artistic practice.
On the gastronomic side, we have BeBar, offering craft beer and reinvented regional dishes, and PiscoPizza with a variety of pizzas and exotic cocktails. This is an opportunity to celebrate culture, art, commerce, and gastronomy while supporting social causes through the Foundation.
