Mercado de Natal 2023


On December 1, 2023, Casa da Cultura Comporta will kick off the Christmas Market. This socially responsible market will take place in the Sala das 7 Aldeias of this former barn.

The market will be held on the weekends of December 1, 2, and 3, and December 8, 9, and 10, from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission to the Christmas Market is free. At this market, you can find national and local brands, as well as local associations promoting recreational activities for children. These activities are also free of charge and will take place every market day in the morning and afternoon.

The market will feature the following brands: Lange Artesanato, Peacify Alentejo, Cosidos de Fresco, Apuro, Duna Comporta, Zamioculca Artesanato, Alquimia da Alma, Misssu Dressing, Toque Final Comporta, Loja da Rita, Loja das Tábuas, The Captain Socks, Lisa Oh, Cush Cush, and FHdC.

The national or locally produced brands will offer a variety of products, ranging from clothing and accessories to home decor. This variety reflects the creativity and quality of the best products made in Portugal.

The following entities will be promoting activities: Educa&Cria, Associação da Comunidade Ativa da Carrasqueira, Grupo de Catequese da Comporta, Lisa Oh, Liliana Isabel and Beatriz Alberto, Peacify Alentejo, Cosidos de Fresco, and Fundação HdC.

The proceeds from the “Casa da Cultura – Património Vivo, Comporta” project will benefit the Foundation’s projects for local communities in its various areas of work.
