The Herdade da Comporta Foundation and the artist Salomé Nascimento are pleased to invite you to the opening of the Exhibition - WHEREVER YOU GO THERE YOU ARE - PART I - on March 23rd at 6pm, at the Casa da Cultura Gallery, Comporta.
The exhibition, divided into 2 moments, seeks to think of spaces as human geographies, places and contexts as agents of relationship and creation that influence artistic practice. The selected work, most of it produced in the territory, alludes to the spatiotemporal situation.
The title of the exhibition quotes Confucius and refers to the work of doctor Jon Kabat-Zinn. An apparent redundancy that evokes, beyond the physical body, being in the 'place' where our mind directs its attention.
