A Casa da Cultura
The Casa da Cultura is the result of the rehabilitation of an old rice barn and the old Comporta Cinema with Community Funds from PRODER, on the Alentejo Coast.
It is an equipment located in the heart of the village of Comporta, with an interior design project developed by Studio Astolfi and promoted by the Fundação da Herdade da Comporta.
The space invites the visitor to enter a setting whose materials, colours, tones, environments and movement transport them to a wandering experience inspired by the Carrasqueira Palafitic Wharf.
The Casa da Cultura is also a space available for organizing all types of events.
